Just a few comments from our wonderful guests

Hello Patrick and Patricia: Just a short note to say how much my cousin Gus and I enjoyed our brief stay with you. It was was one of our most memorable stops on a long journey--a truly unique lodging experience! Too bad I did not locate the printed directions from your website until we were leaving BC. It might have given us a couple more hours with you!

All the best,

Martin Gleason

 Dear Pat and Patricia,

I hope this email finds you both doing well.  The memory of our brief stay
with you still brings me to smile when I think of the music and good
breakfast we had last September.  Things have taken full swing here at
Auburn.  I am now entrenched with my classes and will be here until the
spring of 2001.  It should be a good master's program.
How did your benefit concert go?  With smashing success, I hope.  Was it
too windy for the Egyptian dance?  After we left you, we went and spent some
time at Maccabee's and I bought several books by some Canadian authors, one
of which I'm enjoying tremendously and want to use in a class dealing with
young adult literature, entitled "Icefields," by Thomas Wharton, a
Banff-ian.  Have you heard of it?  It is quite a novel and had me engrossed
while we were still in Montana.
We saw and videoed Writing on Stone Provincial Park before making the border
crossing and looking back now, feel it was a great choice.  There was so
much to see and do!  Berry, Bryan, Ken and Kris still talk with a glimmer of
joy and nostalgia about the trip and especially our night in Tir Na Nog!
You made it so special for us and I wanted to let you know how much I
enjoyed it.
By the way, Ken did pass the Bar exam and is now taking on criminals for
Chambers County, Alabama.  I found the "Tears of Stone" CD by The Chieftains and I love it.  Thanks for the introduction.  Do you have your own album?? I would love to buy one - why I didn't ask when there in Lethbridge, I can't remember, but if you do send details on how I can get a copy.  Kris will
definitely want one too, as well as the other guys.
Again, thanks for the more memorable evening and morning in Lethbridge.
your hospitality was a delight.
Adam Martin
