Patrick and Patricia De Gabrielle have performed together in Canada, and internationally for over 15 years, during which time, they have won the hearts of audiences everywhere they have played. Both with a background in theatre, plus a natural gift for performing; they possess the skills to evoke smiles or tears. Their diverse musical synchronicity springs from “Celtic” roots, meaning the music of the British Isles, and other maritime regions, but also Spanish, Moorish, Arabic and Eastern early musical influences. Also part of their repertoire is Latin, classical, jazz, and flamenco, all played with a modern day sound that is uniquely their own. Patrick and Patricia compose music, and are well known for their ability to improvise, as well as for song writing for special occasions. Whether original tunes, or traditional favorites, the arrangements are theirs. Patrick plays classical, and acoustic guitar, midi-bass pedals, bass guitar, mandolin, bass mandolin, violin (fiddle), and Irish whistles, and Patricia plays Celtic harp, bodhran, and other percussion instruments, and they both take turns with lead vocals.

Patricia is a performer that

passion and artistry playing the
Celtic harp, and her ability to sing a sweet
Irish ballad. She plays and sings in a variety of styles, and is an exceptional performer in both formal and informal situations. She is also the main percussionist for the duo, playing the Bodhran, zills and
castanets, thereby adding the unique heartbeat of Celtic and world rhythms. She has played for audiences and for weddings in many parts of Canada, the U.S., and Europe. When Patrick and Patricia perform together, there is a magical harmony that occurs in the musical gifts that they share.
He took up the Guitar at age 11 and has earned a living playing it ever since. He has over thirty experience playing all styles of music, such as: Jazz, Latin, Blues, Rock, and world rhythms, and has earned grade 10 status in the Royal Conservatory of Music in Classical Guitar and teaches all of the above. Now, he has come full circle, home to where his heart was all along, beating to the pulse of Celtic Music. Patrick is a dynamic performer, as well as being a very skilled guitarist, vocalist, and composer. He has the ability to capture the audience and hold them spellbound with his Irish charm, clever wit, and fine musicianship. In addition to guitar Patrick also plays mandolin, Irish bouzouki, fiddle, tin whistles, midi bass pedals and percussion.
